Warner Bros. Television filed a $49 million breach of contract lawsuit against CBS on Tuesday, claiming the network hasn’t paid fees for airing TV’s top comedy "Two and a Half Men." The suit claims that CBS committed to pay a premium and reimburse WBTV for the show’s production costs during the show’s fifth and sixth season, as part of CBS’ renegotiated license agreement. The suit filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court said that the show hit required milestones in its fourth season. The Hollywood Reporter notes that the case is unusual since the two sides are business partners and co-owners of the CW network.
